1. He runs everywhere. And when he doesn't run, he swaggers. So cool!
2. He has a huge... sword. :D
3. He has the weirdest hair ever, even weirder than Cloud's, and amazingly (like all cartoon characters)
it stays in place no matter what. If only I had hair like that! Instead I have some weird bird's nest thing happening on my head.
4. His tagline is "Embrace your dreams." (Which I put into the GOH speech for Speech Day, which the GOH
actually said out loud as advice to the sec 4s. WIN!)
5. He has beautiful eyes, unnaturally blue, like Athenian waters or noontime sky.
6. He does this stupid "YES-UH!" motion with his hand every time someone gives him something cool. Childish but cute.
7. His enthusiasm is infectious. When I first started playing Crisis Core I thought he was the most annoying creature ever, but as the game wore on his excitement about everything actually started to grow on me. He's like an excitable puppy, completely unafraid of danger and always wanting to try new things.
8. He's devoted (to a silly twit, no less, but still). He goes around looking for stupid things to make some retarded flower wagons just to make her happy. But then who in love wouldn't do that kind of thing?
9. He's pretty good-natured for someone accustomed to killing monsters. Always entertaining Yuffie and putting up with that 3rd-class who kept asking him to complete his missions for him. Oh and did I mention building stupid flower wagons?
10. He's not arrogant and show-offy like Sepiroth, and he's not emo and angsty like Genesis, and he's not weird like Angeal. He's just Zack, and that's enough. :)

Ten Things I Like About Xinhui

1. She is so tall. :D Can you tell I like tall people? (I like short people as well, but that's another story)
2. She reminds me so much of me when I was 16 - daydreamy, creative, bad at math and science (LOL).
3. SHE PLAYS DOUBLE BASS OMG.
4. SHE USED TO PLAY CELLO OMG.
5. She is highly entertaining company for myriad reasons. ;)
6. She sucks at maths like me! Did I already say this?
7. She has a fiery temper. Uh, I shouldn't put this down as something I like should I?
8. She is the most prolific writer in 4E5. She writes me stories, she blogs, she writes me love letters (Erin, you didn't see that!)...
9. She is a good friend to have - she listens to you, offers kind advice (even to beat up people for you), but most importantly, she is there for you. :)

Ten Things I Like About Melvyn1. He is my kitty cat! Meow!
2. He never fails to ask me retarded questions.
Mel: Ms Straaten, must we do the AMK paper that you gave?
Me: No, I gave for fun, I like to waste paper. T_T
3. He is usually the first person to greet me outside the General Office in the mornings. And he waves.
4. He calls me Miss S. (Lazy to pronounce "Straaten")
5. He is so gullible and easy to bluff, it's hilarious. Poor Mel.
6. He really cares for his friends, and he goes out of his way to be peacemaker among them, even though it is sometimes to his own detriment. Friendship like his is hard to find.
7. He is a real gentleman. He will greet me, open door for me, buy food for me (but I still have to pay, so sad).
8. He loves music. That automatically gets my stamp of approval.
9. He takes (all) his roles seriously, be it head-prefect, YHHB member, Ms Straaten's kitty cat, etc. He always puts in his 110% (or whatever % is left to put in hahaha).
10. HE ROCKS. So there! :D

1. SHE IS MY

2. She is half ang-moh, like me. ;)
3. Her English is super-duper high-powered. Like mine!
4. She's a percussionist, which means she's a musician, which automatically means she rocks. Haha.
5. She is a very sensible child. Sensible children like Erin are hard to find.
6. She's pretty. :D
7. She's so tall! Well for a girl anyway. It's nice to be tall. It's nicer to have a tall laling. :D
8. She has an uberlong name. Erin Nicole Lai Lam Lee. But not as long as mine muahaha.
9. SHE'S LAME. (By her own admission, I might add.) Lame = funny, therefore Erin = funny. Therefore I love Erin. Nyah.
10. In the whole wide universe there is only one Erin N. LL. Lee and she is my laling. Hearts Erin! You rock, babe. :D

1. The fact that he didn't ask me to write 10 Things for him, and yet I feel I should.
2. His laugh. It is very distinctive and infectious, and I must confess there have been occasions when I said silly things just to hear him laugh at it. Lol.
3. His very interesting choice of vocabulary, ranging from "Your mother!" to "A**hole!" to some more unprintable words, to "Nice!" and "Yeah!" and "Don't lame la!" and OMG how could I almost forget. GAY. Hahahahaha.
4. His sense of humour. Idiocracy! Pancake Mines! Hahaha!
5. His curiosity and... well, some people would call it stupidity, but I think it's just a natural adolescent-male urge to press/break/write/say something just to see what happens as a result. LOL THE FIRE ALARM. I know it wasn't funny at the time and YL and co made a lot of people angry, but it's funny hearing about it now. :D
6. Mr Chang can speak the slang! Ok it doesn't make sense when I just type it out, I have to say it before you get it. But he can. Slang, I mean. Heh.
7. He designed my Pervy Boy blogskin! And the one before that which had the type-in-this-thingy-and-that-thingy function. It was so cool. But stupid people like me got confused using it. LOL.
8. HE SUPPORTS PERVY BOY. He came to the Jap Association gig AND brought his pals. Yeah!
9. His natural intelligence and inquisitiveness make him a great person to have in class - because he bothers to ask questions, which means he bothers to think about things enough to realise there are questions he wants to ask.
10. His genuine desire to improve and to do everything to the best of his ability. His motivation inspires me greatly.

I put my jelly beside my laptop and went for CE. Then when I came back and wanted to eat it I was wondering why it was warm, and then I realised I put it next to the vent for the cooling fan. So all the hot air was blowing on it. =.=' So I am eating warm jelly.

Ten Things I Like About Jesslyn1. Her bag! It is colourful and has cute monster-looking things on it. LOL.
2. Her voice. It's a bit low for a girl but suits her. It can get very whiny though. Hee.
3. Her preference of music. Still waiting for her to play guitar for me. Rock on, woman.
4. Her big mouth! :D Hahaha ok relax, I mean I like her straightforwardness and ability to speak plainly, though I'm guessing it can get her in a lot of trouble quite often.
5. Her dedication to her CCA. Well, at least what I see seems like dedication. :)
6. Her name. JessssssssssLiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin. Jesslyn. Is it Jessica + Lynne? Jessica + Marilyn? Hey, if you add Jessica to Marilyn do you get Jesslyn and Marcia? :D No actually I think you don't. But Jesslyn is a funky name.
7. Her acting skills. LOL I still remember the skit she was in last year for Teachers' Day celebrations. I can't remember what she was playing but it was highly amusing.
8. Her confidence. Sometimes it's like a powerful aura, sometimes it's almost oozing like honey from a hive, but it definitely sets her apart from most other people.
9. Her sense of humour (though sometimes I have to admit I don't get the joke).
10. The fact that I have yet to discover more things about her that I like :)))

Yesterday I was eating Twister fries. I have concluded that: a) I really should not be eating so many things that make me fat(ter), b) I really cannot resist Twister fries, and c) I should be very grateful McDonalds doesn't sell Twister fries all year round, or I'd be rounder than the full moon. Round. Fat, rather. Fat fat fatty fat. Oh, Twister fries! How I love thee! Fatty fatty fat fat!
Oh yes, I am reminded of the other day when I taught Zoey, Shannon and Jerlyn about 'thee' and 'thou' and 'thine'. Oh I think Johnson was there too. I love medieval English. So fun. So easy to confuse people with, too.
I watched some really stupid Japanese MTV the other day, with some boyband dancing. The song was called Rock N Go! It was so super lame. One of the guys looked like Cedric with his glasses off. But I can't find it on Youtube so I can't post it here. :(
Oh I owe Erin and Xinhui Ten Things too! The wonders that come about when my pathetic memory stops being pathetic.

Ten Things I Like about Chua Li Hui1. ACT CUTE! Hahahahaha
2. The way she can pretend to laugh and then give you the 'diao' look immediately after... It's classic. Few people can do that (me included). Ms Chua, you are among the talented lot.
3. She may make mistakes in English, but at least they're very entertaining mistakes. LOL.
4. "Ms Straaten (insert name here) bully me/take my thing/call me name!" So primary-school. ACT CUTE! LOL
5. She's always smiling, and if she isn't, she smiles when she sees me. :)
6. I have no idea why she is the class dinosaur, although I have a feeling I can understand it. It's very strange. It's just, Lihui = Dinosaur.
7. She is the star of the preposition worksheet that will befall the 3E English classes next week. Ahahaha! I initially intended for it to be only for 3E5, but then the other EL teachers thought they wanted to use them too. So, the world will soon know about Lihui and her char siew pao (see aforementioned worksheet for details).
8. Apart from yelling at Yew Liang and calling him an asshole, and calling Peisi an asshole, Lihui is actually a very good girl in my class. Well. Most of the time. Lol.
9. She's in BAND = MUSICIAN = LOVE MUSIC LIKE ME YAY. Except I forgot what she plays. Flute?
10. She is the Queen of Comic Relief in 3E5, and without her life would be very miserable indeed. I love Lihui!
(Next in line are Erin and Jocelyn. Yes Jocelyn I remember so pls stop yapping at me when you see me. =.=")

Yes ladies and gentlemen, here are
Ten Things I Like About Boon Hock
1. He was one of the first faces I could recognise easily from my first day at Yuhua. So hunsum *coughhandsomecough*
2. He is so neh-neh, like Nicholas but Nic is worse.
3. He is a logical thinker, ie. he is able to argue with me when I ask him things like why isn't he reading stuff in the morning during self-study, why doesn't he bring a bag to school after exams, can you please cut your hair before Mr Su catches you, etc.
4. He is willing to take on new challenges - I asked him to help plan the Sept 1st class party with Sumathi and Chun Heng and I think he did a great job with them.
5. His surname is a chemical name! KOH = potassium hydroxide how cool is that
6. His sister is cute! Oh wait that's not really about him is it
7. He is intelligent and capable of setting goals for himself.. as for working toward the goals, maybe still needs some work la haha
8. He is so nice, he offers to help me when I look like I need it and tries to pay attention in class
9. When I first came he wasn't very interested in doing/bringing work but now he makes an effort (even though he still writes really short essays =.="')
10. He simply rocks and 3E5 would be so weird without him :)

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this post is dedicated to Nicholas Tei Jun Jie because I asked for a blog post dedicated to me and he demanded one first. SO HERE IS YOUR BLOG POST NIC. Ahahaha.
10 Things I Like About Nicholas
1. He talks a lot in class. (Sometimes too much but that can be forgiven sometimes.) And when he talks, at least he talks sense. Well, mostly.
2. He is one of the most driven, determined people I know.
3. He is the only person I know with the surname 'Tei' (as in spelled that way). Pronounced 'Tay", not "Tie" like how Mr Jansen pronounced it at assembly once. Ho ho.
4. He can whine like a girl! He goes "HMPH!" when I don't give him what he wants, eg. his letter, more marks, etc.
5. He is always very polite. Sometimes he even bows when he greets me. That is cool considering most other ppl (the ones I don't teach) pretend I don't exist.
6. He is skilled in the power of argument and debate. I do believe there is only one teacher besides Ms Lee whom he doesn't argue with (and it's not me, it's Ms Kasthuri).
7. He gave me his heart! Not. He got the library people to make a papier maché heart for me for Teacher's Day. Heh.
8. He can play so many instruments it's scary. Guitar? Drums? Piano? Recorder? Hahaha.
9. He really cares for his friends. True, I bet he can be annoying at times, but aren't we all? Different people have different ways of showing affection, and Nicholas being Nicholas, can overdo it sometimes. :)
10. The best thing I like about Nicholas? There is only one Nicholas Tei Jun Jie. And he rocks!
