1. SHE IS MY LALING <333333333
2. She is half ang-moh, like me. ;)
3. Her English is super-duper high-powered. Like mine!
4. She's a percussionist, which means she's a musician, which automatically means she rocks. Haha.
5. She is a very sensible child. Sensible children like Erin are hard to find.
6. She's pretty. :D
7. She's so tall! Well for a girl anyway. It's nice to be tall. It's nicer to have a tall laling. :D
8. She has an uberlong name. Erin Nicole Lai Lam Lee. But not as long as mine muahaha.
9. SHE'S LAME. (By her own admission, I might add.) Lame = funny, therefore Erin = funny. Therefore I love Erin. Nyah.
10. In the whole wide universe there is only one Erin N. LL. Lee and she is my laling. Hearts Erin! You rock, babe. :D
Today Mrs Ko really made me laugh. (This is quoted as I remember.)
"You know, yesterday I gave them this graph to do. And they were supposed to tell me the graph is constant. Some of them said, the graph is constable. I told them, there's no policeman in the graph!"
OMG. CONSTABLE GRAPH.
Lol much? :) I love Mrs Ko, she rocks. Well, most of the time.
Oh and. I don't think there's anything wrong with my dressing either. But I shall try to dress more like a teacher (and less like a rockstar wannabe. Hah).
... do people like to marry other people who look like douchebags?
... do tall guys love to be with short girls?
... are there so many dumbass losers out there who like to talk like they know everything, but actually they don't know their ass from their armpit?
... do people complain the local music scene sucks, when (a) they will shoot down people who are good, but different; (b) they will shoot down people who are good, but don't look local, and (c) they will shoot down people who don't sound like we've-made-it! bands, even though they don't want us to sound like we've-made-it! bands anyway?
I am not going to waste my time getting angry with douchebags, because the world is full of douchebags. Better I know that they are douchebags, and ignore them earlier, than think they actually know what they're talking about, listen to them and then be sorely disappointed.
I am just going to do what I do, and be happy doing it. As long as it's not illegal and I'm not forcing it down anybody's throat, no one has the right to stop me.
Tuesday my voice started slipping away into the high-pitched squeaks one normally associates with mice (not MICES) and other rodents.
Wednesday, I went to school with a football-sized lump in my throat - okay it felt like a football. Had to write on notebook, but 5N1 didn't take me seriously so I had to start talking. -.- Then they laughed at my squeaky voice. T_T
Thursday was worse, the lump was still there and the squeaks were more uneven than before. Sian. Went to see the doctor at night and got a mountainload of medication. Took medication and fell asleep.
Friday morning woke up with fever. Yay. =.=" Sick the whole day. Mum made some weird luo han guo drink thingy for me which smelled like dried plant and tasted like liquid pi pa gao without the sugar. The only other time I ever lost my voice was 2006, when I was studying in the seminary in Punggol. One of my professors (this elderly priest who was like a forgetful grandpa to me) heard my squeaky voice and said, you know what you need, you need luo han guo, and I was like *squeak*what'sthat*squeak* and he said, never mind, you don't talk, I will drive you to the place to buy, and he drove me all the way from Punggol to the market near Queen St to go buy the thingy! So nice right? Anyway thanks to him I got my voice back in like one night. I don't know why this time it's determined to stay away, even with Western medicine on the side. Bah. My friend from church choir said I sound like a boy undergoing puberty. Stupid woman. Huh.
Anyway, to people who tagged my board, thanks! I have linked (almost) all of you up. And Greg (my COUGHtopCOUGH student) please don't start wars on my board hor. Thank you. Listen to Patrick! Patrick is a good boy :)
I was really touched by you guys who messaged or just asked how I was and whether I was feeling better. Lots of squeaky-voiced love to you guys, you know who you are :) thanks for making my miserable day/weekend nicer.
OMG tomorrow must teach! With this 14-year-old-boy-hitting-puberty voice! Argh.
