I found a letter today that was addressed to me. I had read it long ago, but I opened it and read it again. And I thought about what was in it, and I wondered, what would I have done then, if I had understood the significance? If I had realised what was going to happen... what I never thought could happen?
Then I thought, I should stop thinking about things I cannot change. So I folded the letter and I put it away.
But I didn't stop thinking.

In other news, I have been listening to a lot of music from 1999 (the year I was 16 =.='). Dunno why, since Sec 4 is not a year I particularly want to relive... I didn't like my class, I didn't have many friends, I got bored in school a lot... My CCA sucked...
Maybe that's why I love 4E5 so much? They are the Sec 4 class I always wished I had.

I wish I could write a letter too. I wish I could write a letter, and somewhere someone who cares about me will read it, and want to help. But no one can help. Not really. If a problem doesn't have a solution, is it still a problem? If a question doesn't have an answer, is it still a question?
I wish I could write a letter, but who's going to read it?
I wish I could write a letter, to the open sky, to God, to you, the person who's reading this right now, but I can't because I - irony of ironies - have no words. What will I say?
2. I had 6 periods in a row this morning! From 1st to 6th! I almost died!
3. I can't remember which is my new timetable and which is my old. Damn, I think I am ageing. Or maybe it's just my memory.
4. My new blogskin is very boring. I need a more exciting one. The Pervy Boy one was cool but confusing. Will anyone make me a 7t3 blogskin? I'll love you forever.
5. I dropped my phone in the car this morning so I have no phone. I am feeling very paralysed, like my left arm doesn't work or something. It's so weird not to have my phone around. =(
6. In other news, I am very, very happy to be back in school. I missed my classes. My funny 3N4, my sweet 5N1 and my crazy 4E5. And the Lit class, which is a bunch of mad fools. =)
The other night, Pervy Boy had a gig at Marine Parade Promenade, and Minnie (my wife) and Xinhui (my love) came down to watch. (All the way from Jurong West!) So my dad gave them a lift back to Lakeside cos it was raining, and after we dropped them off, we had to drive past the school. (My dad said he was going to leave me outside the security guard post so he wouldn't have to come by on Monday.)
And as we drove past, I thought, that's my school. My school. With my students. And I was happy. =)

... turning saints into the sea, swimming through sick lullabies, choking on your alibis
The Sec 3 Lit class is doing an adaptation of a Shakespeare play called Othello. The play is about this guy named Othello, who is like some kind of uber warrior, and is married to this hot chick named Desdemona, and everything about him is wonderful, except one thing: he is an insanely jealous person.
... but it's just the price i pay, destiny is calling me, open up my eager eyes
The reason everything starts going downhill in the play is that Othello is easily convinced of his wife's infidelity - but she's actually a very virtuous woman who loves him very much and is completely faithful. (In our version she also makes horrible onion cakes, but that's something else altogether.)
... cos i'm mr brightside
Othello's jealousy is what drives him to forsake his happy marriage and kill his beloved wife. Then when he is shown evidence of her faithfulness to him, he breaks down, loses it, and kills himself.
... now they're going to bed, and my stomach is sick, but it's all in my head, but
What makes people jealous? Insecurity?
... she's touching his chest now, he takes off her dress now, let me go
What drives people to such a horrible state of mind: constantly suspecting the one you love, the one who's supposed to be the one thing you try to hold on to? Is jealousy ever really justified?
... i just can't look, it's killing me, and taking control
If I can get jealous, something is wrong somewhere. And it probably means it's time to let go.

What irony. I go to Spain, come back, get flu and scare everyone into thinking it's H1N1, test negative for H1N1, happily go through 1st week of school, and then...
I get chickenpox.
OMGWTF?!
Now I have to stay at home for the next week, and restrain myself from scratching all over, and try not to look in the mirror cos my poxy reflection scares the crap out of me. Ugh. Ugh. Chickenpox!
