Intro
i am who i am
i hate squatting toilets and people who cycle on pedestrian paths
i love my sg gibson bass guitar and playing crisis core
i spend half my life in yuhua secondary school
on monsieur's departure

I grieve and dare not show my discontent;
I love, and yet am forced to seem to hate;
I do, yet dare not say I ever meant;
I seem stark mute, but inwardly do prate.
I am, and not; I freeze and yet am burned,
Since from myself another self I turned.
My care is like my shadow in the sun—
Follows me flying, flies when I pursue it,
Stands, and lies by me, doth what I have done;
His too familiar care doth make me rue it.
No means I find to rid him from my breast,
Till by the end of things it be supprest.
Some gentler passion slide into my mind,
For I am soft, and made of melting snow;
Or be more cruel, Love, and so be kind.
Let me or float or sink, be high or low;
Or let me live with some more sweet content,
Or die, and so forget what love e'er meant.

lovesick
Wednesday, January 28, 2009
Amanda wanted to see a sample of my (crappy) poetry, so here is the most recent one I wrote. (Yes, I write poetry, and yes, it is immensely crappy.)
LOVESICKI am the disease you cannot overcome
the virus you cannot escape
I will take your dignity
and replace it tenderly
with total dependence
on me
on my will
on my love for your body
the body I destroy with my presence
I will swallow your soul
gently as a pearl
to fill my abject hunger
my being will fill your blood
I will be your new self
they will know you as mine
they will watch your
old self
crumble and
wither
- leaves in a fire,
the heat of sickness -
and you and I
will be reborn
into one
(Edit: Bah! Stupid Blogger cannot take spacings into account! I am peeved.)
