(The following post is meant for students of 5N1. The rest of you are free to read - and/or laugh, as the case may be.)
Hello, 5N1 people. If you are reading this post it means you are in your groups and have your 8 words already. Here is your task for English for today.
1. Use the Internet to find the following for each word:
a. type of word
b. meaning(s)
c. example sentence (that doesn't come from the Cats passage)
d. 3 synonyms
e. 3 antonyms
2. Compile this information into a Word document and label it clearly with the names of your group members.
3. Send this Word doc to msstraatenrocks at g mail dot com.
4. Write a story using the 8 words and prepare to dramatise it for the rest of the class. The meanings of the 8 words must be made clear in the dramatisation of your story.
5. Send this story to msstraatenrocks at g mail dot com as well. We will be watching each group's presentation during our coming EL lessons.
