Today I saw a man wearing a T-shirt that said,
You must be the change you want to see in the world.A lot of us are the kind of people who like to watch. We like to watch, and comment, and if someone does something about what's wrong, well and good. But we're not usually the kind who get up from our seats to do anything about anything. This is rather sad, especially since these same people - the watchers and commenters, the "armchair critics" - are some of the most talented and gifted people around.
What are our gifts and talents for, if we aren't going to use them? What is the point of being alive, if our lives aren't going to make a difference? What difference are we going to make if it doesn't make a difference to us?
